ABOUT
ANODIZING: Decorative anodizing, hard coat anodizing,
and super thick anodizing are the different forms of
anodizing that we offer here at anodizing service. The
three different forms of anodizing are not really all
that different. They are merely variations of one
another. They are like three sisters. They are not the
same but they have a lot more in common than they have
differences. Their differences are generally very small,
therefore all preparatory procedures and post anodizing
procedures are usually all the same.
Chem
Film (also referred to as alodine or iridite) is also
offered at our facility. It is the process of
changing the surface color of aluminum to an iridescent
clear greenish color or a gold color. Unlike anodizing,
it does not make the aluminum surface harder, but it
does prevent oxidization and corrosion of aluminum. It
is like a first cousin to the anodizing family. It
follows the same two or three preparatory process, then
it goes off to different immersion steps.
ROHS
compliant alodine or iridite is also available for parts
that are being sold to European Union countries.
Electropolishing of stainless steel for medical, food,
or industrial purposes are done on location. This
process will give stainless parts a passivated, smooth,
and bright finish. It shines up stainless steel
for a very economical price because the process requires
a small amount of labor when compared to manually
buffing and machine polishing.
Teflon
impregnated anodizing is merely an additional step to
the anodizing process that puts a Teflon seal in the
anodizing giving the metal a very slick and naturally
lubricated finish.
Bead
blast service of all metals can be done on site with our
50 horsepower screw compressor and our glass bead room.
We can handle parts large or small
